Each child has reached a very important milestone in their lives. Our team understand the importance of a successful transition from pre-school to the primary classroom.

Healthy home school links are the cornerstone of our school’s success. Parents and teachers must work closely together for children to reach their full potential.

Hi everyone,

We are looking forward to welcoming all new pupils to Ard Rí CNS for their first day of big school on Wednesday 28th of August 2024 at 10 am.

• We are delighted to announce we will have a Summer Camp available for incoming pupils from Monday 24th to Friday 28th June. Save the date. For more info and booking: click here

• Our school calendar for 2024/25 is now available on our website: click here
• Our school uniform supplier is Geoghegans, Trimgate Street, Navan. Do not wait until August to order the uniform. For full information on our uniforms: click here
• Follow us on Instagram @letsgoardri to get a glimpse into daily life at Ard Rí.
• We are delighted to be a part of the Hot School Meals scheme. At Ard Rí CNS every child has access to a hot dinner every day. Please visit our hot meals provider website for more info: www.thelunchbag.ie
• We source all our books centrally from a local supplier. They deliver our books straight to the school. Books will be covered, labelled and stored in the class. This year, for the first time, the government has introduced a free schoolbooks scheme for children in Primary Schools. There will still be some direct costs for parents for expenses not covered by the scheme. When the details of these costs are finalised we will send you a link to make an online payment through App- Way2Pay.
• School times for Infants 
  • Wednesday 28th, Thursday 29th, Friday 30th August: 10.00 to 12.00 
  • Monday 2nd September to Friday 6th September: 9.00 to 12.00 
  • Monday 9th September and on: 9.00 to 1.40  

Places for Junior Infants 2024 are now full. If for any reason your child will not be joining us for September please pick up the phone and let us know immediately so we can release the place to other children on our waiting list.
