Wednesday 14th of November 2018 will live long in the memories of the Ard Rí Community. Most people like their Cheerios in a bowl but we had our breakfast in a blackout! Our Parent Association organised this event to raise funds for this very worthy charity. Childline run a Freefone line for children up to the age of 18 to call and have a chat when they need someone to talk to. We were just pouring in the milk when the whole school went dark. The spirit and determination of the Ard Rí staff and parents present shone through as we just kept going! Children had great fun looking at teachers running around with torches and they wondered what all the fuss and stress was about. We received over €368 which we are delighted to donate to Childline. Well done to everyone involved!!
