Policies at Ard Rí Community NS are live documents. They are constantly changing and evolving. Hard copies of our Child-Protection Policy, Code of Behaviour, Anti-Bullying Policy and Enrolment Policy are available from a stand outside the office at all times.
It was recommended to us during our Whole School Evaluation that policy development become more consultative in nature. In September 2016 a Committee of parents was established to consult with the school on policy development. The committee is balanced in gender with both mums and dads contributing to the process. There are parent representatives from the major faith and nationality groups in the school and parents of children with special needs are also represented.
The group will meet three to four times per year to offer a parent’s perspective on school policy before the policy is ratified and adopted by school management.
If you have any questions about any policy or require clarification on any points please do not hesitate to ask Máistir Darragh.
